One hell of trip today down at Jumpinpin. My mate Bristo has been nagging me about getting him into sp fishing for flatties. It had been 5 months or so before his request eventuated to today’s trip. He had tried previously on his own account with me guiding him through txt messages however he failed to hook any.
Today however with my help he didn’t just catch one flattie he nailed 18 of them! If he had landed every flattie he would have been way past 20 specimens. He actually surpassed me too! I only managed 14.
In total we hooked and landed 32 flatties, 3 moses perch, 1 bream, 1 tailor, 1 whiting, 2 stripeys and a bloody turtle 😂😂😂. Only came home however with 5 keeper flatties. We did drop another 2 legals but oh well 5 is ample.
