Afognak Wilderness Lodge is located on the western side of the north-south main logging road from Discoverer Bays to Kazakof. It is located northeast of the line from Back Bay to Malina Bay. The coastline is diverse, and you can find jagged riffs, beaches to valleys and tidal flats.
Afognak Wilderness Lodge is situated on the Afognak island, which is a beauty in itself. The mountain island is one of the Kodiak island groups. Since the island is close to the freshwater and saltwater, you get to see the best of both the worlds here.

With the license, you can participate in personal and sports fishing. You also need a King Salmon Stamp to fish for King Salmon. Make sure that you carry your license at all times.
